Lalapanzi Palm Island has seating under the open African sky at the waters’ edge. Accessed via a picturesque wooden bridge, the island has a west-facing thatched gazebo and a grove of Acacia trees with rustic wooden benches where you can exchange your vows.
Photographic opportunities at Bonamanzi are endless: from sunset water-side romance to vast grass savannas or cool green forest. You have the option to arrange a game viewer and/or guide to assist with this. Bonamanzi will also gladly quote on canapés and sundowner cocktails for your guests while you are busy with your photographs.
Our romantic Viewing Deck is ideal for intimate receptions of up to 40 guests. Perched on stilts above the lily-filled Lalapanzi Dam, it features wooden floors and wrap-around views to make a breath-taking setting.
The elegant Lalapanzi Restaurant has an outdoor bar next to a fire pit, as well as the option of extending tables into the gardens under a massive spreading tree.
Glass doors along the sides of the majestic Ndlovu Hall open out to the unique sand forest surrounds. The vaulted thatched roof and hanging lantern chandeliers create an airy space where up to 350 guests can dine and dance.
Bonamanzi wedding tariffs include a basic “white” setting with standard cutlery,
crockery and glassware appropriate to your menu choices and the services of an on-site co-ordinator available during your planning and throughout your ceremony and reception.
Colour (your décor, napkins, centre pieces, flowers etc) will be for
your own arrangement. Menus are suggested by our Executive Chef, who will also gladly quote on variations.
The remainder of this Portfolio contains details about menus, accommodation, booking your wedding date and our standard contract.
